So yesterday, I walked into Walgreen’s for a pack of GUM Soft-picks, and walked out 10 minutes later with a sore arm. Impulsively, I asked the pharmacist how much a flu shot cost. Even though I’d seen them for less elsewhere, when I found out I could get it done right then and there, I just did.
I had to answer a few questions, give the pharmacist my name and address, and once I paid, the pharmacist came around the counter, had me sit, roll up my sleeve, breathe deeply, and it was done. I hardly felt the pinch, but as I walked back to my car, my arm felt sore, and by the time I got home, it really hurt to move. I massaged it a little, then went to bed. When I woke up today, my arm felt better. It’s still a little sore, but not bad.
I don’t always get a flu shot, but last year, I was sick for a full month, so maybe this year will be better. Anyway, I didn’t really think about it. I just did it. I’ll still do essential oil protocol, but I figure I need all the help I can get to not get the flu this year.
