Many of us had to read The Great Gatsby in high school, and perhaps because we had to analyze the book to extract the meaning, we didn’t enjoy the story as much as we would have liked. With the movie soon-to-be-released, it may be a good time to revisit this classic. Thankfully, the folks over at Audio File are offering this book free of charge, along with Jazz Age recommendations. The recording is about 5 hours long and includes comments by narrator Anthony Heald.
I’ve had the privilege of both reading and teaching this classic, but now, I get to enjoy it just for the pleasure of it.
